1. Scope

This policy applies to the No Chat website, web app, Android/iOS apps, Windows/macOS apps, and related account, messaging, contacts, groups, attachments, AI, downloads, and feedback services.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and profile information such as email, encrypted password digest, nickname, avatar, bio, birthday, interests, and login status.
  • Messaging and social information such as contacts, groups, conversations, messages, read state, emoji, images, voice, video, files, and timestamps.
  • Files and media that you choose to send, upload, or preview, together with file name, size, type, upload progress, storage path, and download records.
  • Device, network, and log information such as device type, OS, app version, login time, crash logs, access logs, and security audit records.
  • Push notification identifiers such as JPush registrationId, vendor push token, aliases, delivery records, and click records.
  • Website feedback information such as name, email, platform, category, and feedback content.

3. Device information and security logs

To protect account security, detect abnormal login, troubleshoot issues, and prevent abuse, we record necessary information such as device type, OS version, app version, network status, login time, error logs, and API access logs.

The profile page currently does not include a location field, and the client does not need system location permission. If location-based features are added later, we will provide a separate explanation and request authorization before use.

Photo, video, and file access is used only for content you actively choose to send, upload, preview, or download, and is not used to scan unrelated content in the background.

4. How we use information

  • Provide account login, contacts, direct chat, group chat, file transfer, message sync, unread reminders, and downloads.
  • Deliver new message notifications and handle notification tap navigation.
  • Process feedback, debug issues, identify abnormal login, and prevent abuse.
  • Process AI requests only when you actively use AI features.
  • Improve reliability, compatibility, and product experience through non-identifying statistics.

5. Device permissions

  • Notifications: receive message and system reminders.
  • Camera: take avatar, chat photos/videos, or use camera-based features.
  • Microphone: record and send voice messages.
  • Photos, videos, and files: select, send, preview, or download media and files.
  • Network: connect to No Chat services, sync messages, upload/download files, and receive push notifications.
  • Location: not required by current features.

6. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal information or share chat content for advertising targeting.

To provide push notification, storage, AI, security, crash analysis, and cloud infrastructure, we may provide the minimum necessary information to service providers and require them to protect it.

7. Retention and security

  • We retain personal information only for the period necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
  • Different retention periods apply to accounts, messages, attachments, and security logs based on service, dispute handling, audit, and compliance needs.
  • We use access control, transport encryption, permission isolation, and audit logs, while recognizing that no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

  • You may view and edit profile information provided by the product.
  • You may delete content you upload where the product provides deletion controls.
  • You may withdraw device permissions in system settings, though related features may stop working.
  • You may request access, correction, deletion, account cancellation, withdrawal of consent, or policy explanations through the website feedback entry.

9. Minors

Minors should use No Chat with guardian consent and guidance. Guardians may contact us if they believe inappropriate personal information has been provided.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when product features, third-party services, data processing rules, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced through reasonable channels.

Third-party SDKs and services

Android push delivery in mainland China often requires both an aggregation provider and device-vendor channels. These services are enabled only for corresponding features.
